OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark announces the appointment of our medical staff for the upcoming season. We are proud to welcome back Dr. Vytautas Ringus, MD, as our team doctor and introduce Jordan Berry, AT, as our athletic trainer. Both professionals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, ensuring our players receive the best possible care.
Meet Dr. Vytautas Ringus, MD
Dr. Vytautas Ringus returns to the OKC Spark for his second season as our team orthopaedic surgeon. As the Medical Director for the Women’s Premier Soccer League and team physician for OKC1889, Seminole State, and Southwestern Christian University, Dr. Ringus is a local authority in treating and managing high-level athletic injuries. He has a particular interest in foot and ankle injuries and practices at the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center of Norman. His extensive experience and dedication to sports medicine make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Introducing Jordan Berry, Athletic Trainer
We are delighted to introduce Jordan Berry as our athletic trainer. Jordan has been an athletic trainer at Southwestern Christian University for the past year and also boasts NFL experience. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Growing up on a small farm in Mustang, Oklahoma, Jordan has always had a passion for sports and fitness. In her free time, she enjoys baking cakes, cookies, and desserts, playing with her dog, and traveling to the beach. Jordan's commitment to athlete care and her diverse background make her a perfect fit for the OKC Spark.
With Dr. Ringus and Jordan Berry on board, the OKC Spark is confident that our athletes will receive top-tier medical and training support. Their combined expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the health and performance of our players throughout the season.
