Michelle Moultrie Returning for 2025 Spark Season

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark is thrilled to announce that superstar outfielder and Olympic Medalist Michelle Moultrie will be returning for the 2025 season! A former Florida Gator, Moultrie is one of the best all-around players in the game, and she helped lead the Spark to a championship in the 2024 season. Born and raised in Florida, she joins Jayda Coleman, Jocelyn Alo, Kinzie Hansen, Alex Storako, Haley Lee, Alynah Torres, Rylie Boone, Rachel Becker, Amber Fiser, and Sydney Sherrill on the list of returners for the 2025 season. 


Michelle Moultrie made history as the first athlete to sign a contract with the Spark prior to their inaugural 2023 season. As a 2020 Olympic Silver Medalist and member of USA Softball from 2011-2022, Moultrie boasts many accomplishments in her athletic career. In addition to being a 2012 All-American, she holds 4 single season records at Florida: On base percentage (.519), batting average (.443), triples (5), and stolen bases (31). Moltrie also holds 2 career records: batting average (.385) and stolen bases (83). She made top 10 on 5 single season lists: 228 at bats (4th), 75 runs scored (2nd), 17 doubles (3rd), 146 total bases (2nd), and 11 hit by pitches (3rd). When she’s not playing for the Spark during the summer, Moultrie works for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
