OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark is thrilled to announce that powerhouse pitcher Amber Fiser will be returning for the 2025 season! A former Minnesota Gopher, Fiser is a one-of-a-kind pitcher who helped lead the Spark to a championship in the 2024 season with 20 strikeouts and 23 innings pitched. She joins Jayda Coleman, Jocelyn Alo, Kinzie Hansen, Alex Storako, Haley Lee, and Alynah Torres, Rylie Boone, and Rachel Becker on the list of returners for the 2025 season.
During her college career at Minnesota, Fiser was fifth in program history with 82 career wins and fifth in strikeouts with 811. Most notably, she pitched every inning in the 2029 Regionals and Super Regionals, going 5-0 to lead the Gophers to their first ever Women’s College World Series. When she’s not pitching for the Spark, Fiser is an Assistant Coach at the University of North Florida. In her first season as an assistant, she helped the team to a 35-19 overall record, as well as a 17-7 conference record, and a runner-up finish in the ASUN Championship tournament. She also assisted in developing five All-ASUN selections in 2024, including First Team & Second Team honoree Allison Benning as a two-way player, as well as Halle Arends as a Third Team All-ASUN pitcher.
