Alyssa Brito Signs with Spark for 2025 Season

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark announces their first new athlete of the 2025 season, Alyssa Brito! Brito is a three-time National Champion from the University of Oklahoma who quickly made an impact after transferring from the University of Oregon following her freshman year. A native of California, she is the eighth Sooner to join the Spark roster, reuniting with Jayda Coleman, Jocelyn Alo, Kinzie Hansen, Alex Storako, Haley Lee, Alynah Torres, and Rylie Boone.

In 2024, Brito was one of the highest-performing athletes from the Sooner’s historic senior class. In her senior season, Brito was a force at the plate, posting a .399 batting average (fourth on the team) while leading the Sooners with 77 hits, 16 doubles, and four triples. She finished second on the team in home runs (18), slugging percentage (.803), runs scored (64), and RBIs (61), cementing her status as one of the top offensive threats in college softball.

“We are so excited to have Brito join the Spark,” said General Manager Destinee McElroy, “She is such a well-rounded person who we know will have a big impact on the team this summer!”

In addition to the signing of Brito, the Spark is set to announce their 2025 schedule and tickets this March. Don’t miss your chance to witness the returns of Kinzie Hansen, Jayda Coleman, Jocelyn Alo, Alex Storako, Haley Lee, Alynah Torres, Rylie Boone, Rachel Becker, Amber Fiser, Sydney Sherrill, Michelle Moultrie, and Maddie Penta and be a part of the electrifying atmosphere at OKC Spark games next season!
