OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark is thrilled to announce that Alynah Torres will be returning for the 2025 season! A National Champion from the University of Oklahoma and Arizona State University, Torres is known for her defensive versatility across the field and her power in the box. She joins fellow Sooners Jayda Coleman, Jocelyn Alo, Kinzie Hansen, Alex Storako, and Haley Lee on the list of returners for the 2025 season.
Alynah made an immediate impact this summer when she joined the Spark roster after their first away tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During the 2024 season, she posted a .244 batting average with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs, and a .364 OBP. Defensively, Torres made appearances across the infield, mostly at second and first base. She has been spending the off-season finishing up her Master’s degree at the University of Oklahoma.
