2020 (Junior): Made five starts in 20 appearances for the Cowgirls in 2020 ... Made all five starts in right field ... Primarily appeared as a pinch runner ... Was an important part of a lineup that was on pace to break the OSU single-season record in runs per game, slugging percentage, RBI per game, and total bases per game when the season ended ... Went 3-for-3 on the year in stolen base attempts ... Hit .304 in 23 at-bats ... Hit a walk-off single to left center against No. 10 Oregon on February 29 in the OSU/Tulsa Invitational at Cowgirl Stadium ... Went 1-for-1 with three RBI vs. Mercer on March 7 in the Mizuno Classic.
2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 52 games, making 34 starts as an outfielder … Primarily played in left field … Was a First-Team Academic All-Big 12 selection for the first time in her career … Batted .268 in 82 at-bats and stole nine bases during her second collegiate season … Posted a 1-for-2 line against No. 13 Arizona State on Feb. 21 at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic … Tallied a two-run triple in OSU’s 15-5 run-rule victory over San Diego State the following day … Hit a pinch-hit solo home run during an 8-0 win over Samford on March 16 in Oxford, Mississippi … Scored the walk-off run as a pinch runner against No. 9 Texas on March 29 at Cowgirl Stadium … Stole a base and scored as a pinch runner in OSU’s victory at Iowa State on April 13 … Logged two hits, walked once, stole a base and scored a career-high three times at Iowa State on April 14 … Started a pair of Cowgirl rallies with two base hits in OSU’s 6-5 sweep-clinching victory over No. 13 Texas Tech on April 28 … Drove in two runs during a six-run sixth inning against No. 9 Texas during pool play at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship on May 10 … Walked twice, stole two bases and scored a pair of runs in OSU’s 13-10 comeback win over Tulsa in the winner’s bracket game of the Stillwater Regional on May 17 … Went 2-for-3 on stolen-base attempts during the NCAA Tournament.
2018 (Freshman): One of two Cowgirls named to the Big 12’s All-Freshman Team … Grew from a pinch runner into an everyday starter in the outfield … Appeared in 58 of OSU’s 61 games, starting on 41 of those occasions … Started in the final 38 games of the season … Tallied 39 hits in 130 at-bats to post a .300 batting average … Seven of her 39 hits resulted in extra bases for the speedster, including four doubles and a pair of home runs … Walked 19 times and posted a solid .393 on-base percentage while hitting primarily out of the No. 6 and No. 7 spots in the lineup … Stole seven bases and was caught just twice on the basepaths … Swiped her first career base against No. 7 Arizona during the Kajikawa Classic on Feb. 9 … Also logged the first hit of her Cowgirl career and scored two runs against Western Michigan later that same weekend … Notched a pair of two-RBI hits during the OSU Hall of Fame Classic, including a two-run single that helped OSU run-rule Pacific on March 11 … Launched her first career home run – a three-run shot – to right field against Central Arkansas on March 13 … Scored the go-ahead run during Oklahoma State’s six-run sixth inning that lifted the Cowgirls past Iowa State, 7-2, on March 24 … Notched her first career triple against Wichita State on March 27 … Pushed the Cowgirls to a 4-1 road victory over Texas Tech on March 29 with a three-run inside-the-park home run that crashed off the right-field wall, giving Alexander the first OSU inside-the-parker since Randee O’Donnell hit a grand slam that stayed inside the walls of Cowgirl Stadium in April 2017 … Posted her first three-hit game and scored a run on the road against Missouri State on April 11 … Went 2-for-3 with a double during OSU’s 8-0 run-rule win over South Dakota on April 28 ... Batted 3-for-10 during her first NCAA Tournament, which included a 2-for-4 showing against DePaul in OSU’s first elimination game of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional ... Stole a base in both of the Cowgirls’ May 19 elimination games.
High School: Lettered four years in both fastpitch and slowpitch softball at Latta HS ... Coached by Jim Foster ... Led her team with a .500 batting average, .579 on-base percentage, an .813 slugging percentage, 56 hits, 37 singles, eight triples, four home runs, 54 runs scored and 28 stolen bases ... Finished her career with a .492/.558/.660 line at the plate while also tallying 188 career hits, scoring 155 runs and stealing 71 bases ... Won the 2016 Class 2A Fastpitch State Championship ... Named to the fastpitch all-state team in 2016 and the slowpitch all-state team in 2017 ... Earned a spot on the Southeast Oklahoma All-Vype slowpitch team in 2016 and 2017, while also making the fastpitch squad in 2016 ... Received the Latta Letter “L” Award during all four years ... Also lettered during her one year running cross country.
Personal: Born October 9, 1998 ... Daughter of Daimon and Joey Alexander ... Has two brothers - Caden, 14, and Chanse, 28 - and a sister-in-law - Sheena, 28 ... She is engaged to Clay Fitzgerald and will be married in June 2023 … Graduated in May 2021 with a BSNR majoring in agricultural communications and minoring in agribusiness and agricultural leadership … Also completed her MBA at OSU in December 2022 after completing her athletic eligibility … Started a fundraiser in 2022 called the Chilly Cowboy, partnering OSU Athletics and Special Olympics Oklahoma to raise money for local Special Olympic athletes.
